‘Sher Khan’ at Wings

Salim Khan is 14 and fiercely independent and proud. He is fastidious about his grooming and he is courteous. Quite the gentleman.

Salim walks an hour and a half each way to attend school and our Wings project. He then goes home to help his father work on their vegetable cart. When his father insisted he skip tuition to work longer on their cart, Salim pleaded to be allowed to study. His father gave in and Salim joined us at Wings.

Salim studies at PMV, a school supported by Aassraa, in Class 7. His grades are high. His overall percentage is above 78 and in science he is averaging between 85 and 90%. He wants to be a doctor and is emphatic about it. We will help him fulfil his ambition.
