Wings of Doon

This project was originally situated on the banks of Dehradun’s famous Bindal bridge, working with children of migrant laborers and rag pickers living on the river bed. The main focus of this project is to provide after school support for mainstreamed children. From Bindal, Aasraa relocated the project to St. Joseph’s Academy for 3 years. Now the project has grown, in numbers and scope, it has been divided into two programs, junior and senior section, running at seven different locations. Currently, 882 children attend this program daily from Monday- Friday.
