Our children celebrated Independence Day with their customary joie de vivre. Their enthusiasm was infectious and before the festivities began all the kids, teachers, Trustees & guests had the tri-colour tattooed on their cheeks. The children enacting the play (written by a teacher with inputs from the children, about how the physically challenged can also be of help) put in bravura performances, eliciting a laugh a minute from the audience! The children confidently spoke about their views on Independence & managed a tuneful rendition of our National Anthem.
