We were scared that by putting a few children aside and working individually with them, we would make them feel inadequate but turns out, everybody wants to be enrolled in the one-to-one classes! So the kids walk in with their registers and well-rehearsed “Oh, English mein problem hai” or “Exams aa rahe hain, BODMAS nahi aata”!
But as happens with everything new, well it becomes routine and now the kids are all settled into their own classes and working towards the big bad D-Day, which is 14th March and which is the day that their final exams at school begin. There is extensive revision happening in the bigger classes now and the older kids have to sit with teachers, sort out their problems and clear their doubts even on Saturdays when the younger kids paint.
