Programme Goal

‘The goal of Aasraa’s Higher Education Program is to provide much-needed comprehensive support for underserved children as they pursue higher studies by facilitating a range of activities, services, and resources.

Creating Opportunities

Aasraa’s Higher Education Program supports aspiring students in completing their studies and pursuing their careers. Starting from Class 8, career counseling helps students develop soft skills and professional acumen. The program provides knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience through degree/diploma courses, short-term skill programs, internships, and on-the-job training. Its goal is to equip students with the resources they need to succeed academically and professionally. Aasraa envisions a future where children can earn a living and live with dignity.

Targeting marginalized students from vulnerable, low-income families, the program helps those facing significant barriers to higher education, including poverty, lack of resources, limited academic opportunities, and inadequate support.

Future Pathways

Currently, over 240 students are enrolled in Aasraa Trust’s Higher Education Programme, pursuing a variety of courses that align with their career goals and aspirations. These include BSc in Hotel Management, BCA, BTech, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and more. The programme is designed to provide these students with specialized knowledge and skills, helping them build promising futures.
