Levelling the Playing Field

Outreach

Bridges the gap between underserved slum and street children and opportunities, guiding them to education and skills centers, and providing relief during crises.

Street Smart

Prepares out-of-school children for mainstream education through innovative teaching learning methods and tech-enabled mobile learning centers.

Mainstreaming

Helps children enter formal schooling through the School Quality Enhancement Program (SQEP) and Aasraa’s National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) centres.

Wings of Doon

Offers remedial education through afterschool tutorials for curriculum and conceptual reinforcement.

Girls Education Program

Empowers girls through access to quality education, life skills, and continued school retention.

Higher Education

Helps underserved youth enroll in certification, diploma, and degree programs.

Special Needs Centre

A dedicated facility providing individualized performance programs for children with special needs.

SkillAbility

Offers accredited courses to bridge the gap between education and employment.

Shelter Homes

Provides holistic care for abandoned, orphaned, abused, distressed, and children with disabilities in shelter homes.

Healthcare

A dedicated medical department ensures 24x7 access to medical assistance, including check-ups, preventive care, treatment, and specialized care.

Nutrition

Every Aasraa program incorporates nutrition, offering healthy meals and snacks, with three full meals provided at our Shelter Homes through a centralized kitchen

Meet Raman

Raman Kumar grew up in the slums beneath Bindal Bridge in Dehradun, one of six siblings in a family struggling to make ends meet. His parents, both daily wage laborers, worked tirelessly to support their children.
